  • Potts helped orchestrate the largest football attendance records at both Maryland (1972) and SMU (1978)
  • Created the first commercial scoreboard package in 1972 and televised nationally the first women’s basketball game between Immaculata vs Maryland
  • In 1982 Russ Potts founded Russ Potts Productions Inc. which is one of the most successful promotion and organizer of major sports events in the nation
