CLEVELAND – The Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) has selected Sherryta Freeman, director of athletics at Lafayette College, to serve as President for the 2026-27 membership year.

"It is an honor to serve as FCS ADA President during such a transformative time in college athletics," said Freeman. "The FCS brand has never been stronger, and our core mission remains centered on providing student-athletes with exceptional opportunities for both athletic excellence and educational development. I am excited to build on the work of past leaders and continue to champion and elevate the student-athlete experience across our division."

Kurt McGuffin, director of athletics at University of Tennessee Martin, will serve as Immediate Past President. In addition to Freeman, the following athletics directors will serve as FCS ADA Officers for the 2026-27 membership year:

• 1^st Vice President Skip Perkins, North Carolina Central University;
• 2^nd Vice President Bill Chaves, University of North Dakota; and 
• 3^rd Vice President Mark Wharton, University of Tennessee Chattanooga. 

In addition to the 2026-27 Officers, the following directors of athletics will serve on the FCS ADA Executive Committee for a second term: 

• Ken Beazer, Utah Tech University;  
• John Mack, Princeton University;
• Tim Murray, Marist University;
• Chris Robinson, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; and
• Jonathan Terrell, Nicholls State University; 

The remainder of the 2026-27 FCS ADA Executive Committee consists of:

• Jason Coomer, Lindenwood University;
• Nathan Christensen, Indiana State University;
• Jude Killy, University of Maine; and
• Josh Looney, University of North Alabama 

The FCS ADA is in the process of finalizing additional Executive Committee members for the upcoming year.
