ORLANDO, Fla. – Erick Alamo of Cal State LA (CCAA) has been named the D2CIDA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week for his performance from October 6 to 12. The senior from Culver City, California, powered the Golden Eagles to a 2-0-0 week, following two game-winning goals.
Alamo began the week by scoring the game-winner in the 39th minute of LA's 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay. The senior midfield followed with the first two goals in the Golden Eagles' 3-0 victory over Chico State. Alamo knocked in the game-winner in the 37th minute and followed with a second goal in the 45th minute.
National Players of the Week are selected by a volunteer committee of Division II Conference Information Directors from a pool of nominations submitted by conference offices.
