CLEVELAND – The
Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) has selected
Brad Brown, chief operations officer at Clemson IPTAY, as President for the 2024-25 membership year.
"I am honored and excited to step into the role of President of CEFMA for the 2024-25 academic year," said Brown. "I look forward to working closely with the executive leadership team and board of directors to continue to provide valuable education and idea sharing opportunities for our membership. As we navigate this pivotal point in the history of our industry, the work of this organization has never been more important in shaping the future of the enterprise. I am committed to leading with passion and dedication to ensure our members thrive and succeed in this ever-evolving landscape."
Brown replaces
Derek Doolittle, general manager at The Rose Bowl Stadium, who will serve in the role of Immediate Past President. In addition to Brown,
Megan Larson, assistant AD, operations and events at University of Washington will serve as 1
st Vice President and
Nick Nagel, senior associate AD, facilities and event management at Georgia Tech as 2
nd Vice President and
Devon Hendricks, deputy AD for external operations at Emory University as Executive Committee Rep (DEI), while CEFMA welcomes
Cass Ferguson, associate AD, facilities and events at UNC Charlotte as Executive Committee Rep (Communications) for the 2024-25 membership year.
Working alongside the CEFMA Officers will be the Board of Directors, comprised of:
Jennifer Aguilar, senior associate AD for internal operations at UNC Greensboro;
Jon Allen, senior associate AD / game experience at Clemson University;
John Bugner, director, championships and alliances at the NCAA;
Jessica Chrabaszcz, executive associate AD, competitive excellence at University of Connecticut;
Brooke Croshier-Sidebotham, assistant AD for facilities and operations at University of Northern Iowa;
Jordan Hoover, associate AD for facilities and operations at Catholic University;
Garron Lucius, associate AD, facilities at University of Notre Dame;
Tony Nguyen, senior associate AD at University of West Florida; and
Katie Stumpp, associate AD, administration at University of Pittsburgh.
