National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics

CEFMA is excited to announce that its mentorship program is back for the 2026-27 year! This program, which takes place from October through the annual Convention in June each year, seeks to engage the CEFMA membership with educational programs; promote growth among future leaders in event and facility management; and provide a connection between entry-level event and facility managers and senior-level administrators.  

2026-27 Mentorship Applications will be accepted from September 14-30, 2026. Following the application deadline, mentorship pods will be assigned and notifications will be sent to all participants in early October.  

Program Requirements & Expectations  

• Participant must be a current member of CEFMA.  

• Mentor Criteria: Minimum of seven years of full-time experience in event/facility management; willingness to commit to the program from October through June.  

• Mentee Criteria: Desire for career advancement, willingness to commit from October through June, and ability to establish individual goals.  

• Mentorship pods should complete a minimum of four interactions during the program year.
