CLEVELAND – CEFMA is seeking interested applicants to fill Ambassador roles for the vacancies listed below. Administered by the CEFMA Membership Committee in consultation with the CEFMA Board of Directors, the Ambassador Program was established to assist in organizational efforts to recruit, engage with, and retain a diverse membership base within an assigned athletic affiliation.
Ambassadors serve the Association by assisting the Board in growing membership, as well as enhancing engagement among existing members through the annual programs and initiatives that CEFMA offers.
Open Vacancies include:
- Division I FCS (1 position)
- Division I Non-Football (1 position)
- Division III (1 position)Â
Participation Requirements:
- Active, dues paying members of CEFMA.
- Work at an institution within the athletic affiliation they represent.
- Supervisor Approval: It is the responsibility of the Member Ambassador to gain supervisor approval to be involved with the program.
The primary roles of ambassadors will include:
- Participation in a committee call each month.
- Recruitment and retention of members.
- Engagement with members within their respective athletic affiliation and promote opportunities within the organization.
- Assist in evaluation of award applications.
- Participate in events (when in attendance) including Regional Conferences and Convention.
As part of their participation, ambassadors will receive a complimentary registration to the Annual Convention each year.

Following that date, applications will be reviewed by the CEFMA Membership Committee and Board of Directors, and applicants will be notified of their status later in the summer.
