D2CIDA Men’s Soccer - Sept. 16

ORLANDO, Fla. – Isak Haukefaer from Menlo College (PacWest) has been named the D2CIDA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week for his performance September 8 - 14. The senior from Bergen, Norway, scored five goals on six shots during a pair of non-conference wins to help the Oaks improve to 4-0 on the season.

The 5-11 Defender/Midfielder began the week with a pair of goals in Menlo's 4-3 win against Jessep. Both scores came within 14 seconds of one another in the 17th minute. Haukefaer knocked in a rebound to tie the game at 1-1, then followed with an interception of a goal kick to give his squad a 2-1 lead early in the match. The Norwegian followed with a hat-trick in a 5-3 victory at CSU - Monterey Bay. He found the back of the net first in the 27th minute, hit the game winner in the 50th minute, and added insurance in the 74th minute.

Haukefaer now leads the PacWest in goals scored (6) and points (12) in 2025. The Norway native moved into fourth all-time in Oaks history with 22 career goals and is tied for sixth with 46 career points.

National Players of the Week are selected by a volunteer committee of Division II Conference Information Directors from a pool of nominations submitted by conference offices.
