CABMA Announces 2025-26 Mentor Me Class!

CLEVELAND – The College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) is pleased to announce the graduating 2024-25 Mentor Me Program Class and the incoming 2025-26 Mentor Me Program Class.

"Congratulations to our graduating class of 2024–25 and a huge welcome to the incoming 2025–26 cohort," said Katelyn Fischer, Chair of Mentor Me and Senior Associate AD/Administration & Chief of Staff at Jacksonville University. "I'm so thankful for the time, energy, and commitment that our 2024–25 participants brought to the program. As we look ahead to another record-setting year, the continued growth of Mentor Me reflects the passion for learning and the spirit of giving back that defines our CABMA community. This program thrives thanks to the dedication of our participants, the guidance of our lead mentors, the leadership of our Lead Team, and the support of the CABMA Executive Team. We're excited to build on this momentum with another exceptional group in 2025–26."

Joining Fischer on the Mentor Me Lead Team are returning members, Tiffany Howard (NCAA), Jacques Wells (Bradley University), and Maddie Patno (Providence College). The team also welcomes a new member, Abraham Wade (University of Central Florida).

"I'm especially grateful to our current and past Lead Team members for building such a meaningful program," Fischer said. "I'm thrilled to welcome Abe to the team and thankful to have Tiffany, Jacques, and Maddie returning. We're ready to carry on this legacy and can't wait to welcome our next class. And finally, a heartfelt thank-you to our outgoing Lead Team members—Matt Smale (University of Miami), Ashlee Magosin (UNC Greensboro), and Dan Satter (Big Sky Conference)—for their years of dedicated service to Mentor Me."

The CABMA Mentor Me program is a one (1) year program that pairs an experienced athletics business professional (First Line Mentor) with an emerging professional (Protégé) in the industry. Mentor Me is designed to foster professional career and personal growth, as well as encourage an organizational commitment to CABMA by connecting members, empowering them with knowledge, and ultimately allowing them to grow and lead.  All Participants receive in-depth training in mentoring techniques and leadership principles.
