CLEVELAND - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has announced TCU as its 2025 Unity Award recipient.
"TCU is truly honored to be the recipient of the NACMA Unity Award," said TCU Senior Associate AD, Marketing, Branding & Licensing Julie Austin. "Getting the chance to highlight our initiative with the Fort Worth Hispanic Community, TCU Hispanic Alumni and Students was a full department effort and integration into our Football game day experience. Thank you to the NACMA Community for this honor."
Noche De Las Ranas (Night of The Frogs) became an initiative to spotlight and appreciate the Hispanic heritage that is entrenched in the roots of Fort Worth. TCU took valued pieces of Hispanic culture and intertwined within our own traditions and unique game day experience—creating a special and palpable pride throughout the entire pregame, in-game and post-game activations. Rooted in authenticity and driven by purpose, TCU collaborated with campus leaders, local artists, and Hispanic-owned businesses to ensure the night reflected genuine cultural appreciation, not appropriation. TCU infused game day with rich elements of Hispanic tradition—music, dance, art, language, and storytelling—blended seamlessly into the TCU spirit.
Noche De Las Ranas transformed Amon G. Carter Stadium into a celebration of unity, identity, and pride. The emotional resonance was clearly distinct and this feeling of appreciation will be retained as we incorporate the Las Ranas brand and initiative across our athletics department: families shared memories, students saw their cultures elevated on a grand stage, and fans—new and lifelong—felt more deeply connected to the Horned Frog community than ever before. Noche De Las Ranas wasn't just a campaign—it was a true statement of belonging. It reinforced TCU Football's commitment to inclusivity, representation, and honoring the people who help make Fort Worth the unique and remarkable community it is. In its fourth year, the Unity Award recognizes the efforts in creating a marketing campaign or initiative that is associated with diversity and inclusion. TCU was selected for the 2025 Unity Award from a group of three finalists, including the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Utah Valley.
"On behalf of NACMA, I am honored to recognize TCU with the 2025 Unity Award," said NACMA President Markeisha Everett. "TCU's Noche De Las Ranas campaign inspired and displayed how essential it is to delve into the community that surrounds you. I am thrilled that NACMA is able to spotlight the work of the team at TCU for their efforts in creating a greater good for their students and community."
TCU was announced as the winner during the 2025 NACMA Convention on June 9.
