What is the most important skill you have developed in your career? The most important skills I have developed are discernment, listening, and attention to detail.

In what ways have you grown as a professional through your association with ICLA?  I have grown professionally through ICLA by obtaining a wealth of industry knowledge and peer resources to lean on and guide me through struggles. I have become more competent and have an extensive wealth of knowledge regarding trademark licensing and branding.
What's one ICLA resource that you and your colleagues use the most that has helped you?  One ICLA resource used is the Education webinars. Attending the monthly education sessions and conventions has been very resourceful.
Who or what inspires you in your career?  I inspire myself to be better today than I was yesterday. The daily influence is being courteous to others and learning something new daily. No one knows everything or has all the answers. Do not be afraid to ask questions and for guidance.
What was your first job?  My first job was as an office manager in Campus Police at Jackson State.
When you started your current job, what most surprised you?  When I started my job, what surprised me the most was that regardless of the institution's size and revenue, we all have the same problems and can learn from each other. I used to think that the more money you have, the fewer problems you have because you have the resources to easily fix a problem, but that was far from the truth in many instances.
What is your greatest achievement (personal or professional)? My greatest achievement is starting again in 2022 to enroll on the path to obtaining my PhD.
