CLEVELAND – The
 International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) is pleased to announce that the 2026 ICLA Convention Stipend Program application is now open.
The purpose of the stipend is to attract ICLA members who desire to excel in collegiate licensing. The program seeks individuals who want to advance their trademark and licensing career, enhance their professional ability to raise funds for their institution, and create valuable networking opportunities with numerous collegiate licensing administrators.Â

Specific Targeted Goals of this Initiative:Â
- Supporting Members in Need: We are committed to providing tailored support to members facing challenges or hardships, ensuring they have access to resources that address their specific needs.
- Fostering Lifelong Membership: Our goal is to cultivate a strong sense of belonging and loyalty among our members, encouraging them to remain active and engaged within the ICLA community throughout their careers.
- Identifying Contributors: The Stipend Program will continue to serve as a platform for identifying and nurturing individuals who demonstrate potential and a willingness to make significant contributions to the organization.
- Generating Positive Word of Mouth: By delivering valuable support and resources, we aim to create a positive narrative around ICLA that inspires existing members to advocate for our organization and attract new members to join our community.
Requirements for Stipend Recipients:Â
- Must be a current dues-paying member of ICLA
- Job responsibilities must involve collegiate licensing responsibilities at an institution or a licensee company.
- Serve on a committee upon receipt of stipend (if not already a part of one).Â
Additional Possible Opportunities for Stipend Winners:Â Stipend winners could be asked to complete one or more of the following tasks before or during Winter Symposium:
- Social media takeover on X.
- Blog posts on the ICLA Community platform or ICLA's LinkedIn page.
- Participation in webinars or authoring articles.
- Providing feedback to the ICLA Board of Directors.
Selection Criteria:
- Consideration given for years of ICLA membership, interest in leadership roles, and responses to short-answer questions.
- Note:Â Past recipients are NOT disqualified, but being a past recipient will be taken into consideration. Recipients of the 2026Â Winter Symposium Stipend are not eligible for the 2026Â Convention Stipend
The Stipend Value:
- Total value = convention registration + $1000
- Up to $1000Â to be used to offset the cost of lodging (room and tax only), airfare and/or other travel expenses to be reimbursed by the Association after Convention
- Stipend recipients are responsible for securing their own hotel room & travel accommodations
- Note: Stipend reimbursement will be issued following Convention
Up to 15 recipients may be selected for this year's Convention. The recipientsÂ
MUSTÂ attend the ICLA Convention in order to receive reimbursement.
