NATYCAA Launches Convention Grants

CLEVELAND - As part of a partnership with CBIZ Borden Perlman Sports, NATYCAA will be providing up to eight athletics directors' a $1,000 grant to attend the NACDA Convention at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando. The deadline for applying is Friday, March 28. Access the application HERE.

Mission and Purpose
The grant program is designed to provide financial assistance to the organization's member institutions for attendance at the annual NATYCAA Convention.

Eligibility
Attendees must be active administrators at NATYCAA member schools, have never attended a NATYCAA Convention, or have not attended a NATYCAA Convention within the last five years. Priority consideration will be given based on first-time attendees and diversity of applicants.

Administration and Funding
The program is administered by the NATYCAA Executive Committee in collaboration with the NATYCAA Finance Committee with duties including review and selection of applicants, annual reporting, evaluation of whether the grant is fulfilling its mission and purpose, and approval of any modifications to the grant's guidelines.

The initiative is funded by the NATYCAA Legacy Fund and CBIZ Borden Perlman Sponsorship with a total annual budget of $8,000, allowing up to eight $1,000 grants to be awarded yearly to offset the cost of travel, lodging, and meals.

Based on availability of applicants, two grants will be awarded to each of the three organizations (six total) of NATYCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association, Northwest Athletic Conference, California Community College Athletic Association).

Selection Committee
The NATYCAA Executive committee is responsible for reviewing applicants and selecting recipients.
