ORLANDO, Fla. – Sverre Orten of Gannon (PSAC) has been named the D2CIDA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week for his performance from October 20–26. The senior forward from Orsta, Norway, led the No. 24 Golden Knights to a pair of league victories, extending their win streak to four matches.

Orten totaled 11 points on four goals and three assists across two matches. He opened the week with a two-goal, two-assist showing in a 4-2 road win at Seton Hill. In a 7–0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown, Orten scored twice and assisted on a goal, surpassing 100 career points and moving into second place on Gannon's all-time assists list.

For the week, Orten recorded four goals, three assists, nine shots, and six shots on target as he powered Gannon's high-flying attack to another perfect conference stretch. He currently ranks tied for first in PSAC goals (11) and goals per game (0.786), first in assists (11) and assists per game (0.786), and first in total points (33) and points per game (2.36).
