Mike Snyder Named President; New Leadership Announced

CLEVELAND – The National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) has announced that Mike Snyder, director of athletics at Pacific Lutheran University, will move into the President role for the 2024-25 membership year.
 
"I am thrilled to be taking the reins as president of NADIIIAA for the 2024-25 membership year," stated Snyder. "My enthusiasm is matched only by my dedication to establishing clear organizational goals and direction, and maximizing our value add for our membership. Our board will work for the betterment of NADIIIAA with a vision that our positive impact is felt across all of Division III."
 
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Assistant Dean of Athletics & Recreation Laura Mooney, will serve as the 1st Vice President, Kristofer Schnatz, director of physical education & athletics, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) will take over as 2nd Vice President, and Crystal Gibson, director of athletics & recreation, St. Mary's College will move into the 3rd Vice President role.

The following individuals, who were voted on by the membership in the summer, begin their at-large member tenures on the Board of Directors:

  • Anthony Azama, associate vice chancellor for student affairs & The John M. Schael director of athletics, Washington University in St. Louis
  • Brian Sisson, athletics director, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota
  • John Sutyak, director of athletics, Husson University
In addition to the above individuals, the NADIIIAA Board includes:
  • Immediate Past President – Angel Mason, director of athletics, Berry College
  • And the At-Large Board members:
    • Donnie Brooks, associate vice president for student affairs / director of athletics, Macalester College
    • Ryan Erwin, senior vice president for campus life / athletics director, East Texas Baptist University (ETBU)  
    • Matt Tanney, director of athletics and recreation, Wabash College
