CLEVELAND – Iowa Western Community College, Rowan College South Jersey-Gloucester (RCSJ-Gloucester) and Mt. San Antonio College have each won the 2023-24 Daktronics-NATYCAA Cups for overall program excellence at the two-year college level.
NJCAA Scholarship Division: Top-30 Standings
The Reivers of Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, IA) have won their third consecutive and fourth overall Daktronics Cup in the NJCAA Scholarship Division by scoring 181.5 points. The Reivers used national championship performances in men's football and women's soccer, a tie for the championship in women's indoor track & field, a second place finish in men's bowling, third place finishes in men's outdoor track & field, women's volleyball and bowling and a fourth place finish in women's outdoor track & field, to earn their total of 181.5 points and propel them to this year's Daktronics Cup.
Barton County Community College (Great Bend, KS) finished in second place in the NJCAA Scholarship Division. The Cougars used NJCAA National Championship performances in men's basketball and women's indoor track and field (tie for first), a second place finish in outdoor track & field and a third place finish in women's swimming to help them earn 173 points.
New Mexico Junior College (Hobbs, NM) finished in third place in the NJCAA Scholarship Division. The Thunderbirds used NJCAA National Championships in men's golf and women's outdoor track & field, second place finishes in men's outdoor track & field, men's indoor track & field and women's cross country to help them earn 162.5 points.
NJCAA Non-Scholarship Division: Top-30 Standings
Rowan College South Jersey-Gloucester (Sewell, NJ) earned their sixth Daktronics Cup Championship in the NJCAA Non-Scholarship Division. The Roadrunners used a NJCAA National Championship in baseball, second place finish in men's tennis, third place finish in women's tennis and fifth place finishes in men's soccer, women's cross country and women's outdoor track & field to score 158 points and win this year's Cup.
Herkimer Community College (Herkimer, NY) and Harper College (Palatine, IL) finished in a tie for second place with 120.5 points each. The Generals of Herkimer had a second place finish in men's basketball, third place finish in men's soccer and a fourth place finish in women's cross country to earn their award. The Hawks of Harper had NJCAA National Championships in men's and women's cross country, and women's outdoor track & field and a third place finish in men's wrestling to help them on the way to their second place finish.
State Association Division: Top-30 Standings
Mt. San Antonio College (Walnut, CA) won their record sixth straight and eleventh overall Daktronics Cup in the State Associations Division, tying them with Iowa Central Community College as the winningest programs in NATYCAA/Daktronics Cup History! The Mounties used championship performances in men's and women's cross country, men's wrestling and men's and women's track & field to help score 183.5 points.Â
Riverside City College (Riverside, CA) finished in second place in the Daktronics Cup State Association Division. The Tigers used a championship in football, second place finishes in men's track & field and women's water Polo, and a third place finish in women's Tennis to help them score a total of 162 points.
Orange Coast College (Irvine, CA) finished in third place in the State Associations Division scoring 146.5 points. The Pirates earned championships in women's basketball and men's volleyball and second place finishes in women's tennis and men's swimming and diving to help earn them their third place award.

 Colleges in each division are allowed to use their top five finishes per gender at their highest level of competition to earn points for the Daktronics Cup. The champions of each competition score 20 points, second place scores 19, third place 18, etc. This is the fifth year that Daktronics has sponsored this award in conjunction with the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA).Â
