Division I LEARFIELD Standings - Final Winter

CLEVELAND
– Stanford University has just over a 230-point lead heading into the spring LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings. Stanford has tallied 977.00 total points, claiming the title in men's gymnastics, and placing fifth in women's gymnastics.
 
The Texas Longhorns and North Carolina Tar Heels remained in second and third place, respectively. Texas is just 13 points ahead of North Carolina with 746.50 total points, while the Tar Heels have totaled 733.50 points.
 
Rounding out the top-five is Michigan in fourth with 708.00 points and Penn State in fifth with 702.75 points.
 
Michigan broke into the top-five in the final winter standings after hovering close at the end of the fall season and the first set of winter scoring. The Wolverines have scored in eight winter championships, including finishing second overall in the most recent men's gymnastics championship and tied for third in men's ice hockey.
 
The Nittany Lions finished seventh overall in men's gymnastics and ninth on the women's side to break into the top-five in the final winter standings.
 
CONFERENCE
At the conference level, the SEC leads all Division I conferences with seven institutions in the top-25 – Alabama (10th), Tennessee (11th), Florida (13th), Arkansas (14th), Georgia (20th), LSU (22nd), and Texas A&M (23rd).

The spring Division I LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings will be updated and published in mid-June.
