CLEVELAND – The NAIA Athletics Directors Association (NAIA-ADA) is pleased to announce the stipend program that will provide assistance to the NACDA & NAIA Conventions.
The purpose of the NAIA-ADA Convention Stipends is to provide assistance to athletics director members to attend in person. The NAIA Convention will take place April 3-7 in San Diego, California and the NACDA Convention will take place June 8-11 in Orlando, Florida.

Minimum Requirements for Stipend Recipients:
- Must be a current dues-paying member of NAIA-ADA under NACDA
- Must be an athletics director at an institution
- Note: Applicants should only apply if they know they will be able to attend the NAIA and/or NACDA Conventions
Selection Criteria:
- In the case the NAIA-ADA has more applicants than stipends, years of NAIA-ADA membership will be taken into consideration
- Consideration will be given for those who have interest in potential leadership roles in NAIA-ADA
- Consideration will be given to ethnicity and gender
The Stipend Value for the NAIA Convention:
- Total value = up to $500
- Up to $500 to be used to offset the cost of registration, lodging (room and tax only), airfare, and/or other travel expenses to be reimbursed by the Association after each Convention
- Stipend recipients are responsible for securing their own hotel room & travel accommodations
- Note: Stipend reimbursement will be issued after each Convention
Up to two (2) recipients may be selected for the NAIA Convention.
The Stipend Value for the NACDA Convention:
- Total value = up to $750
- Up to $750 to be used to offset the cost of registration, lodging (room and tax only), airfare, and/or other travel expenses to be reimbursed by the Association after each Convention
- Stipend recipients are responsible for securing their own hotel room & travel accommodations
- Note: Stipend reimbursement will be issued after each Convention
Up to four (4) recipients may be selected for the NACDA Convention.
The recipients MUST attend the Convention in order to receive reimbursement.
