NAADD Announces "The Development Series"

CLEVELAND  – The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) is proud to announce the creation of, "The Development Series" for the 2023-24 academic year. This virtual educational experience includes a series of webinars with varying topics in fundraising geared towards enhancing the knowledge of professionals at all levels and stages of their careers.

"Whether you're a veteran development professional looking for a refresher, or a rookie looking to learn the ropes of giving, this series will have something for everyone," said NAADD President Ryan White, executive director of the Razorback Foundation at the University of Arkansas. "Join us as we discuss the various ways in which you can support your institution and take your fundraising efforts to the next level."

The programming includes five, 60-minute sessions and an additional pre-Convention best practices session. Topics that will be covered within The Development Series include:
  • November: Ways to Give - How Donors Can Support Your Institution
  • February: Securing Gifts from Corporate & Private Foundations
  • March: Coffee with a NAADD Executive Committee Member (Session One)
  • April: Estate Giving – The Tools You Need to be Successful
  • May: Coffee with a NAADD Executive Committee Member (Session Two)
  • May: The Convention – What to Expect/Know Before You Go
The Development Series kicks off Tuesday, November 14 at 2 p.m. (EST) with the topic "Ways to Give – How Donors Can Support Your Institution."

Registration for each webinar in the series will open approximately two weeks prior to the live event and will be sent directly to NAADD members. To ensure your NAADD membership is renewed for 2023-24, log in to members.nacda.com and click on 'Open Invoices,' or email membership@nacda.com.
