Advice to Current Athletics Administrators? The onslaught of social media and all of the different avenues available to both send messages to the public and for the public to easily reach has certainly ramped up the need for AD's to diligently and completely monitor and supervise their program, its behaviors, policies, methods and culture. With transparency will come criticism as well as praise. The ability to control your message and to effectively communicate with your student-athletes, staff, coaches and supporters to present an image of class and achieving academic and athletic excellence while doing things the right way in your program is certainly a burden and challenge for every AD.

Favorite College/Professional Sports Teams? Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, Kansas Jayhawks and the University of Miami

Favorite Retired Activity? Travel / Enjoying the ocean, everglades and Florida Keys / Working athletic events for various teams and TV broadcast

Favorite Memory from NATYCAA Events? The ability to visit different venues and facilities, as well as the opportunity to interact with other AD's from around the country to pick up good ideas and to understand that most of us fact the same challenges and objectives.
