CLEVELAND – The
National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) have released the final 2019-20 Daktronics Cup standings.
The 2019-20 Daktronics Cup Champions for overall program excellence in two-year college athletics are
Iowa Central Community College (Fort Dodge, IA) in the
NJCAA Scholarship Division, Herkimer County Community College (Herkimer, NY) in the
NJCAA Non-Scholarship Division and
Mt. San Antonio College (Walnut, CA) in the
State Associations Division.
Below are the complete top-10 standings following the conclusion of the winter sports season.

SCHOLARSHIP DIVISION
The Tritons of
Iowa Central used national championship performances in women's cross country, bowling and men's track and field; 2nd place national finishes in men's bowling and women's indoor track and field; 3rd place national finishes in men's cross country and swimming; and a 4th place national finish in women's swimming, to score 166 points and earn their 1st place standing in the NJCAA Scholarship Division.
This is the Triton's fifth straight Daktronics/NATYCAA Cup Championship and their 10th overall. The Reivers of
Iowa Western Community College (Council Bluffs, IA) scored 137.5 points to earn the second spot in the NJCAA Scholarship Division standings and the Cougars of
Barton Community College (Great Bend, KS) scored 106 points, finishing in third place.
NON-SCHOLARSHIP DIVISION
The Generals of
Herkimer County Community College (Herkimer, NY) used a 2nd place national finish in men's soccer, 5th place finishes in women's soccer and men's basketball to score 87 points and earn their 4th overall cup championship in the NJCAA non-scholarship division. The Sharks of
Suffolk County Community College (Selden, NY) finished in 2nd place with 78 points and the Cougars of Camden County College (Blackwood, NJ) finished in 3rd place with 72 points in the NJCAA Non-Scholarship Division.
STATE ASSOCIATIONS DIVISION
The Mounties of
Mt. San Antonio College used CCAA finishes of 2nd place in men's soccer, 3rd in men's cross country, 6th in wrestling, 5th in football, 9th in men's water polo, 3rd in women's cross country, 9th in both women's golf and women's soccer to earn their 3rd consecutive and 8th overall Daktronics/NATYCAA Cup in the State Associations Division. The Wolverines of
Sierra College (Rocklin, CA) finished 2nd in the division with 103.5 points, while the
Fresno City College Rams (Fresno, CA) finished with 86.5 points in 3rd place.

Colleges in each division are allowed to use their top five finishes per gender at their highest level of competition to earn points for the
Daktronics Cup. The champions of each competition score 20 points, second place scores 19, third place 18, etc. This is the second year that Daktronics has sponsored this award in conjunction with the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA).
