CLEVELAND  – The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) selected Haven Fields, deputy AD and chief operating officer, at University of Nebraska, to serve as President for the 2026-27 membership year.

"In 2014, I attended my first NACDA Convention," said Fields. "It was certainly a whirlwind, but I owe a lot to this great organization, specifically NAADD. I was in "awe" of the excitement that more than 6,000 athletics professionals had in anticipation of what they would get out of the next few days. The NAADD Executive Committee played an intricate role, showing outstanding professionalism, great collaboration, and provided productive programming." 
 
"Being named as a member of the NAADD Executive Committee in 2021 was extremely humbling, knowing that I would have the opportunity to serve this great industry, with a focus on athletics development professionals across the nation," stated Fields. "I would like to personally thank, Ben Broussard (NC State) and Dan Cloran (Ohio State) who were instrumental in my opportunity to join the Executive Committee. Serving as the 35th President of NAADD, is a true blessing and amazing opportunity.  I continue to describe our industry as one that's building a plane while we're flying it. With that, we have the right leaders in the cockpit, committees working tirelessly to enhance our overall mission, along with the inspiring service to redefine the great work continuing to be done by so many."

Fields takes over for Past President Grant Kelly, senior associate AD and executive director of development at Johns Hopkins University, who served as NAADD President for the 2025-26 membership year.

Joining Fields as Officers will be 1^st Vice President Matt Borman, president and CEO, Tiger Athletics Foundation at LSU, 2^nd Vice President and Secretary Erin Wissing, deputy executive director at University of Virginia; and Jamar Thompson, associate vice president of philanthropy at University of Minnesota, as 3^rd Vice President and Treasurer.

Alongside the 2026-27 Officers, the Executive Committee will work to advance and continue to develop the Association. The 2026-27 Executive Committee will consist of: Rob Clark, associate AD for development at the University of Utah; Kacie Dohrmann, deputy athletic director for development at University of Denver; Casey Macdonald, senior associate AD for development at University of Delaware; Josh McCowan, deputy AD at Mississippi State University; Howard Milton, executive senior associate AD, development at the University of Illinois; Beth Tafolla-Voetsch, executive senior associate AD, external relations at the University of California, Berkeley; Brian Thornburg, executive senior associate AD/development & NIL strategy at Temple University and Daniel Wray, senior associate AD for development at Saint Mary's College of California.
