NACMA Hosts Successful 2026 Revenue Generation Summit, Bringing Industry Thought Leaders Together to Drive Commercial Strategy

FORT WORTH, Tx. — The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) held its second Revenue Generation Summit presented by Paciolan on April 12-13, welcoming collegiate and professional sports leaders to Texas Christian University's campus for a day of forward-thinking dialogue, collaboration, and actionable insights centered on the evolving business of college athletics.
 
Held at Amon G. Carter Stadium's Legends Club, the one-day summit brought together industry experts to explore innovative revenue strategies, organizational alignment, and the growing commercialization of college sports.
 
"The 2026 Revenue Generation Summit was another strong statement of NACMA's commitment to leading from the front," said current NACMA President Zach Dayton. "As our industry continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, a deep understanding of revenue generation has never been more critical. We are committed to ensuring our members have the tools, training, and resources to lead and innovate in this new era."
 
The summit opened with a dynamic keynote session from Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark, who shared insights on innovation and growth strategies shaping the conference landscape.
 
Legendary athletics director and former NACMA president Joe Castiglione held a fireside chat, providing perspective on leadership, creativity, and the future of college athletics.
 
Additional programming included panels and discussions focused on modern revenue frameworks, NIL commercialization, leadership in times of change, and monetizing opportunities beyond gameday.
 
Highlights of the day included:

  • "The Modern Revenue Stack" panel, offering practical frameworks for aligning data, marketing, and strategy in today's commercialized environment
  • An athletics director panel addressing real-world approaches to navigating revenue challenges and opportunities
  • NIL-focused roundtable discussions centered on "above the cap" strategies and emerging best practices
  • A session on monetizing outside of games, featuring insights from professional sports leaders on maximizing facility and event revenue
  • The closing panel, "Leading Through the Noise," which explored organizational alignment, team performance, and prioritization in a rapidly changing landscape 

The summit also reinforced NACMA's commitment to collaboration across the college athletics ecosystem, with participation from partner organizations including NAADD, NAATSO, and ICLA, highlighting the importance of shared resources and unified strategy.
