A school record performance as part of a standout week earned Randolph the national honor this week, as he averaged 36 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.5 assists and a steal in two Southern Wesleyan (9-12) wins. After opening the week with a 23-point, 17-rebound showing in a 79-76 win over Barton, Randolph exploded for an SWU record 49 points in a 117-108 overtime victory over Chowan on Saturday.

In that game, he scored nine straight points in an overtime stretch that allowed the Warriors to extend a one-point advantage to seven over the final 3:27. Randolph also had two assists, two blocked shots and 10 rebounds in the game, leading to his 17th double-double of the season that leads NCAA Division II.
