CLEVELAND - The Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) is proud to announce the winner of its 2025 Facility Manager of the Year Award, Cullen Moore, assistant director - facilities and operations/external rentals at The Catholic University of America.
The Facility Manager of the Year Award is intended to recognize an athletics administrator that has gone through extraordinary efforts working on and completing construction and maintenance projects on their campus.Â
"The CEFMA Board of Directors is thrilled to congratulate Cullen on being named the 2025 Facility Manager of the Year," said Brad Brown, senior associate AD/facilities and operations at NC State University and current CEFMA president. "This year's pool of candidates were strong, but Cullen's achievements and leadership truly stood out. We are excited to celebrate his well-deserved recognition and the impact he continues to make in our industry."
Cullen Moore
Cullen Moore joined the Catholic University Administrative Staff on July 10, 2023, taking over as the assistant director for facilities and operations/external rentals. Moore comes to D.C. via Mount St. Mary's where he spent the last three seasons as an assistant baseball coach.Â
Moore plays a crucial role towards the overall success and growth of the operations team at Catholic. Over the past two years, Moore has collaborated with our administration and coaches to ensure athletics facilities align with strategic goals that elevate the programs and department as a whole. Moore oversees the event management of all 25 varsity sports, enhancing game day experience for student-athletes, fans, alumni, and parents. He also oversees facility setups to ensure smooth transitions between athletics events, outside rentals, and university functions.
In addition, Moore serves as the main point of contact for all external rental groups utilizing the athletics facilities. He has excelled in this role through supporting revenue-generating initiatives and bringing in revenue to support operational needs.
