CLEVELAND - For the 18^th straight year, the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) will recognize the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at Division II institutions by awarding the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards. 

For a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the athletics director of the Division II institution MUST BE A CURRENT dues paying member of the D2 ADA. 

Also, the student athlete must: 

• have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale 
• have completed a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work at a two-year and/or four-year institution 
• have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year 

Institutions will be responsible for the following (only include Division II sponsored sports): 

1. Completing an excel document (nomination form) with the nominees' name, academic year completed and sport.
2. Submitting your application 

There is no limit to the number of nominees that may be submitted. The form is due to the NACDA national office by Tuesday, July 1. Once the names have been received by the NACDA office and the awards have been announced, an electronic certificate will be emailed to the institution. The institution will then be responsible for personalizing the awards and presenting them to the student-athletes. 

The 2024-25 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards will be announced by the National Office before September 1.
