WOMEN: Natalie Bremer, 5-11, Senior, Minnesota State

Bremer averaged 30 points, five rebounds and four steals per game in two victories for the Mavericks, which included a career-high 35 points in an 85-73 win over Wisconsin-Parkside. In that victory, Bremer went 13-of-22 from the field that included four three-point baskets, while adding four rebounds, four steals and two assists. Earlier in the week, she had 25 points on 12-of-23 shooting from the field with six rebounds and four steals as the Mavericks opened their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule with a decisive 110-81 win over St. Cloud State.
Bremer connected on 25 of her 45 field goal attempts (55.6 percent) and was five-of-nine from three-point range in the two games, while making all five free throw attempts and making eight steals. Bremer, selected as the NSIC South Division's Player of the Week, helped the 7-0 Mavericks to the two wins that allowed them to move up to second in this week's Women's Basketball Coaches Association's national poll
