Murillo averaged 18 points and 15 rebounds per game for the 5-1 Greyhounds in two wins last week and was also a defensive force in the victories over MSU Denver and CSU Pueblo. In ENMU's 78-65 victory over MSU Denver, Murillo had 15 points on seven-of-11 shooting from the field and pulled down 15 rebounds, while also adding three assists, two blocked shots and four steals. The following day against previously undefeated CSU Pueblo, Murillo recorded another double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds, while also blocking four shots along the way. Those efforts helped the Greyhounds to hold their two foes to a combined 34.5 percent field goal percentage mark.

Murillo became just the third player in Eastern New Mexico history with multiple games with at least 15 rebounds in a career and is the only player in the Lone Star Conference averaging a double-double for the season (17.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game). He was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week in the LSC.
