National Association of Athletic Development Directors

Now Accepting Applications for the NAADD Convention Stipends!

The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for two stipend programs designed to support professional development and enhance participation at the 2026 NAADD Convention, taking place June 7–10 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.


Brian Scott Crockett Diversity Initiative Program

This program honors the legacy of Brian Scott Crockett by providing financial assistance to underrepresented professionals in the athletics development industry. The initiative aims to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the NAADD membership and the broader collegiate athletics community.

Program Details:

  • Number of Stipends: 40
  • Amount: Reimbursement for up to $2,500 in eligible expenses related to convention attendance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a current NAADD member.
  • Individuals who identify as part of an underrepresented group in athletics development are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within their organization or the industry.
  • Ability to attend the full NAADD Convention.

Convention Stipend Program

The Convention Stipend Program is designed to assist NAADD members with costs associated with attending the annual convention, ensuring broader access to networking and educational opportunities.

Program Details:

  • Number of Stipends: 20
  • Amount: Reimbursement for up to $2,500 in eligible expenses related to convention attendance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must hold an active NAADD membership.
  • Preference will be given to individuals whose institutions have limited professional development budgets.
Applicants should demonstrate a clear interest in advancing their professional skills and contributing to the NAADD community.

Selection Process & Notification

Applications will be reviewed by the NAADD Stipend Selection Committee. Recipients will be notified in early January 2026 to allow ample time for travel planning.


Application Deadline:
All applications for both programs must be submitted by Monday, December 1.
