National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has selectedÂ
Markeisha Everett, chief marketing and communications officer at University of California, to serve as President for the 2024-25 membership year.
"I am excited to serve NACMA as President for the upcoming year," said Everett. "I am the first Black woman to serve in this role, which is a historic moment. There is something special about seeing a physical manifestation of your dream, so while I might be the first I am confident that I will not be the last."

"Our board of directors is made up of a group of talented, strategic leaders and together we are committed to pushing the envelope to ensure that our membership has the tools, training, and resources needed to be successful in the changing landscape of college athletics," stated Everett.
Everett takes the reins fromÂ
Brad Wurthman, executive associate AD, external affairs and advancement at Virginia Tech, who will transition to the role of Immediate Past President. Serving alongside Everett will be: 1
st Vice President,Â
Zach Dayton, assistant vice president/ deputy AD, Fairfield University, and the NACMA Officers welcome 2nd Vice President,Â
Lauren Belisle, senior associate AD for fan experience and sales, Vanderbilt University and
Elaine Russell, senior associate AD for external operations, Western Michigan University, as the 3rd Vice President for the 2024-25 membership year.
The Officers are joined by the NACMA Board of Directors, which will consist of:
Alex Cramer, associate AD for marketing and creative at Air Force Academy;
Chris Grosse, senior associate AD for external strategy at the University of Connecticut;Â
Carl Hairston, associate commissioner for marketing and content strategy at ACC;
Murray Littlepage, assistant AD for marketing and fan engagement at Temple University;
Jordan Looby, associate AD for marketing strategy and fan experience at the University of Maryland;
Jessica Onyepunuka, associate AD for marketing at USC;
Jamaal Walton, director of intercollegiate athletics at VMI and
JC Whidden, director of marketing at Virginia Tech.
NACMA welcomes
Julie Austin, associate AD for marketing and licensing at Texas Christian University (TCU) and
Kyle Bruce, senior associate AD, strategic engagement at Ole Miss to the Board of Directors for the 2024-25 membership year.
