CLEVELAND –Â
Jason Leonard, executive director of compliance at the University of Oklahoma, will move from first vice president of the
 National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) to President for the 2021-22 membership year.
"As I look ahead at the landscape of intercollegiate athletics, now is a critical time for NAAC to continue to empower the many talented individuals in our profession," stated
Leonard. "I look forward to being at the helm of this great organization and continuing to build on the foundation that the leaders before me have built."
Additionally,Â
Trace Wilgus, associate AD of compliance at Vanderbilt University, will take over as 1
st vice president;Â
Shoshanna Engel Lewis, deputy athletics director for governance and student services at Brown University will serve as the 2
nd VP; andÂ
Kristy Bannon Sromovsky, senior associate AD/compliance & student-athlete services at Temple University, will serve as the new 3
rd vice president for the upcoming year. Bannon Sromovsky has served on the Board the past two years as an at-large member.
Immediate Past PresidentÂ
Andrew Donovan, vice president, collegiate partnerships at Altius Sports Partners, will continue to serve in a leadership capacity throughout the next year.
The following individuals will join the NAAC Board for the first time in 2021-22:
- Paia LaPalombara, assistant athletic director for compliance at Ohio State University - Convention Committee chair;
- Andy Louthain, associate director of Academic and Membership Affairs, NCAA – NCAA Representative
- Kristina Minor, associate athletic director for compliance at Northwestern University - Membership & Awards Committee chair;
- Eric Nepomuceno, senior associate athletic director of compliance at UNLV – At-large member; and
- Michael Sainte, senior director of compliance and membership services at the Big East Conference - CCACA representative.
The five individuals listed above will join the Officers and the individuals listed below on the 2021-22 NAAC Board:
