CLEVELAND – The
National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) is pleased to announce the 2020 N4A Virtual Convention. Due to the cancellation of the 2020 NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week in Las Vegas, N4A will be providing members various educational and networking opportunities virtually.
The 2020 N4A Virtual Convention, #AllTogetherNow, will take place June 22, 23, and 24. The Virtual Convention will include a keynote presentation from
Amy Sandler, awards presentations, general sessions, concurrent workshops, and virtual happy hours. All content will be available free of charge for members and will be delivered via the Zoom video conferencing platform. Individuals will be expected to register for the sessions which they desire to participate.Â
Â
"While Zoom conferencing could never truly replace the experience of being "all together" in Las Vegas, Nevada, these are certainly times in which we must remain nimble, optimistic, and hopeful for the future," says N4A President Denise Poole. "Therefore, I am thrilled to be able to offer our community a robust menu of virtual professional development and networking opportunities. I am incredibly thankful to the "All Together Now – Plan B task force" for their creativity and commitment to constructing an engaging and dynamic virtual Convention agenda. We hope you will be able to join us virtually as we kick things off this June."
Â
In addition to the 2020 Virtual Convention, N4A will be providing a Summer "Hot Topic" series and Wilma Rudolph Wednesdays. The Summer "Hot Topics" series will include virtual on-demand or live workshops focused on "Hot Topics" that are relevant to our current landscape. Wilma Rudolph Wednesdays will highlight our 2020 Wilma Rudolph award recipients each week beginning on Wednesday, July 1
