NATYCAA Announces 2019-20 Officers and Executive Committee

6682CLEVELAND - The National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) has selected Michelle Ruble, executive director, student life and athletics at the College of Southern Maryland, to serve as President for the 2019-20 membership year.
 
"It will certainly be an honor to lead this organization and assist in the collaborative efforts at all levels to prepare for the 2020 Convention in Las Vegas," said Ruble. "This network provides so many opportunities to develop in our field, and I look forward to learning more about leadership and athletics business from my distinguished predecessors and colleagues. The NATYCAA Officers and Executive Committee remain dedicated to providing professional development for athletics directors at two-year colleges."
 
Ruble replaces 2018-19 President Doug Spiwak, director of athletics at Harper College, who will transition to Immediate Past President. Serving alongside Ruble are: 1st Vice President, Joe Jennum, director of athletics, Mt. San Antonio College; 2nd Vice President, Rob Chaney, director of athletics, Tallahassee Community College; 3rd Vice President, Kevin Salisbury, interim director of athletics at the Community College of Rhode Island; Secretary, Tammy Davis, director of athletics, Western Texas College; and Treasurer, Gary Broadhurst, director of athletics, Mohawk Valley Community College.
 
In addition to the 2019-20 Officers, the following directors of athletics will serve on the Executive Committee:
District 1: Aaron Bouyea, Monroe Community College – Rochester; Kristen Schuth, Genesee Community College
District 2: Mike Neal, Fayetteville Technical Community College; Shawn Noel, Union County College
District 3: Matt Ennis, State College of Florida; John Rennie, Bossier Parish Community College
District 4: Kevin Vest, Waubonsee Community College
District 5: Jeremy Capo, Iowa Western Community College; Todd Carter, Butler Community College
District 6: Deron Clark, New Mexico Junior College; Roger Reding, South Plains College
District 7: Christina Hundley, Paradise Valley Community College; Ed Yeager, Chandler-Gilbert Community College
District 8: Kanoe Bandy, Taft College; Dan Clauss, Saddleback Community College
District 9: Jeff Reinland, Walla Walla Community College; Greg Sheley, Lane Community College
At-Large: Brian Henderson, Patrick Henry Community College; Greg McVey, Garden City Community College; Colin Preston, El Camino College; Troy Tucker, Northampton Community College
 
The Executive Directors of the three associations comprising NATYCAA will also serve on the Executive Committee: Marco Azurdia, Northwest Athletic Conference; Carlyle Carter, California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA); Chris Parker, National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
