CLEVELAND - The Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) is excited to announce the 2018-19 Mentoring Program participants. Participants have been paired with one another as members of the second cohort for the 2018-2019 academic year. The program will begin in June 2018 and conclude June 2019 at the end of the 2019 MOAA Symposium.

"We are extremely excited to see the program evolve and contribute towards the professional growth for both mentees and mentors," stated Marcus Brown, the Assistant Director for Academic and Membership Affairs at the NCAA and MOAA Mentoring Program Committee chair. "The Professional Development Mentorship Program is a career investment and we are confident that the knowledge gained and the relationships that will be established will make a difference in each participant's professional journey."
The goal of the MOAA Professional Development Mentorship Program is to act as a support system with the ability to bridge the gap between novice and experienced professionals, as well as developing professionals through a series of enriched learning opportunities. The MOAA Mentoring Program Committee will be hosting a Meet and Greet program prior to the start of the MOAA Symposium to kick off the program's curriculum.
