NACDA Announces 2015 Professional Development Grant Recipients

CLEVELAND -- The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) has announced the 2015 NACDA Foundation Professional Development Grant recipients.

The selected NACDA member directors of athletics will receive a $1,000 stipend to cover their Convention registration and to help offset the cost of lodging, airfare/mileage and meals.

"We are proud to announce the recipients of the NACDA Foundation Professional Development Grant for the second-straight year," stated NACDA President Jim Phillips, vice president for athletics and recreation at Northwestern University. "On behalf of the NACDA Officers and Executive Committee, I want to congratulate the honorees. As an Association, we are glad to provide our membership with this valuable opportunity to further their administrative careers at our annual Convention."

A total of 76 NACDA member ADs received the grant for this year's Convention, an increase from 64 recipients in the stipend's inaugural year in 2014. Below is a breakdown of the 2015 recipients:

11 - Division I
13 - Division II
17 - Division III
28 - JC/CC
7 - NAIA
