N4A COVID-19 Response

N4A COVID-19 Statement  - March 18, 2020

Dear N4A Family,

On behalf of the N4A Executive Committee and Board of Directors, I am writing to let you know that we are thinking of you during this extremely challenging time. As many of us work through unimaginable changes on our respective campuses, it is important to prioritize your health and that of your family in order to best support your students, colleagues, and friends.

I continue to be in awe of our amazing community as many of you have reached out to offer support and resources through our various communication channels. Please know that as a collective Association, we will be taking the following actions to help streamline and promote general resources and considerations to help us all navigate the weeks ahead. Together, we will be taking the following actions:
  • Our Board of Directors is currently assembling a task force that will evaluate and recommend various support resources for our members. As soon as this group is solidified, we will share the full list of the group's members along with their contact information.
  • All N4A recommended resources will be organized and available in a central community resource document. We will be updating the community resource document that was recently developed by Dr. Kayleigh McCauley (Lewis & Clark College) and Dr. Lisa Rubin (Kansas State University) (among others) and was distributed to the membership on Monday, March 16. This document contains a variety of helpful resources, including links to announcements and information being offered by our fellow industry partner associations such as Women Leaders in College Sports. Our N4A task force will be regularly adding and updating this document as we move forward and new information is made available.
  • We also developed a form for the submission of new resources. This form will be available to the entire membership and will allow our members to submit new resources and suggestions to further enhance our community resource document.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to be prioritizing your health during this time of major change and transition. Please continue to stay connected with your fellow N4A colleagues as well as members of your various professional and social networks to help one another through this trying time. We will get through this, together!

Stay healthy and safe, N4A!
