CLEVELAND – Michael Sainté, senior associate commissioner at the Atlantic 10 Conference, moves from 1^st vice president of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) to President for the 2026-27 membership year.

"I am honored to step into this role and continue the work of the presidents who came before me," stated Sainté. "NAAC has always been a place where compliance professionals could turn for guidance, community, and a network of people who care deeply about integrity in this profession. Our focus will be building on that foundation and making sure this organization and our members are positioned not just to keep pace with the new college athletics landscape, but to help shape it. The game has changed, and so must we, but we will remain steadfast in our mission to serve and elevate this profession."

Additionally, Aaron Hosmon, senior associate AD for compliance and regulatory affairs, Northwestern University, will serve as the 1^st VP; Carly Grimshaw, associate athletics director for compliance, The Ohio State University, moves into the 2^nd VP role and Tyler Wright, senior associate AD at Baylor University will serve as the new 3^rd vice president for the upcoming year.

Immediate Past President Alic'a Oliver, deputy director of athletics, chief administrative officer at Army West Point, will continue to serve in a leadership capacity throughout the next year.
