DI-AAA ADA Now Accepting 2026 Scholar-Athlete Award Nominations

CLEVELAND – The Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA) is accepting nominations for the 24th Annual Scholar-Athlete Team.

CLICK HERE to submit a nomination for the 2026 Scholar-Athlete Team. The nomination deadline is Friday, March 20.

This survey will allow you to easily type the necessary information and forward it for submission. If necessary, please do not hesitate to pass along this information to your head basketball coach for completion. The DI-AAA ADA Selection Committee is hopeful your institution will support this program and nominate deserving student-athletes.

Requirements:
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF NOMINATIONS PER INSTITUTION IS TWO (2) PER GENDER

The nominee must have been:
  • A starter or important reserve with legitimate athletics credentials and at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Participation in at least 50 percent of the team's games listed on the nomination form.
  • Reached JUNIOR academic standing at the institution (ineligible athletics transfers are not eligible).

To be eligible for a Postgraduate Scholarship, one must have completed eight semesters or the equivalent number of quarters at the institution.

**Preference will be given to those on track to graduate in the spring/summer 2026.
