ORLANDO, Fla. – Junior midfielder Riley Sims from West Texas A&M University (Lone Star Conference) has been named the D2CIDA Women's Soccer National Player of the Week for her performance during the week of September 28-October 4.

Team Results: 4-3 W at St. Mary's (9/30) | 3-0 W vs. Angelo State (10/3) 

  • Helped the Buffaloes go 2-0 last week 

  • Tallied four goals on nine shots for a total of eight points
    • Posted one goal against St. Mary's 
    • Scored all three goals in win over Angelo State, breaking the program record for fastest hat trick (2', 10', 14')  
  • Played 122 minutes 

National Players of the Week are selected by a volunteer committee of Division II Conference Information Directors from a pool of nominations submitted by conference offices.
