NCAA DIVISION II NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tuesday, January 27, 2026
WOMEN: Heidi Robinson, 5-9, Sr., Ouachita Baptist
Hometown: Marmaduke, Arkansas
In the only game the Tigers (10-5) were able to play last week due to the weather, Robinson had a record night as she recorded a career-high 48 points – the most by a player in NCAA Division II this season – in Ouachita's 89-56 win over crosstown rival Henderson State. Robinson opened the game by scoring 21 of the Tigers' first 25 points and finished the night by making 15-of-26 (57.7 percent) from the field and nine-of-16 (56.3 percent) from three-point land; the nine treys matched the most by a player in a game this year at the Division II level.
The 48 points recorded by Robinson, which also included a nine-of-10 showing at the free throw line, were the most ever by an Ouachita Baptist player in its NCAA era. She also moved into the top 10 in OBU history for three-pointers made in a career with 134, while adding five rebounds, two assists and a steal in the contest. Robinson was selected as Offensive Player of the Week in the Great American Conference.
