Learfield, the media and technology company powering college athletics, is now accepting applications for the 11th annual Learfield EDGE Academy. Interested individuals can apply online here.
Held in partnership with the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), this year's hybrid EDGE Academy will offer a range of engagement and networking opportunities with industry leaders across collegiate athletics.
If you're passionate about building and supporting college athletics through innovative solutions—ranging from data and digital platforms to multimedia rights, brand management and licensing, broadcasting, content, and ticketing—this program could be a great fit for you.
The 2025 hybrid Learfield EDGE Academy will feature an impressive lineup of guest speakers representing intercollegiate athletics, corporate sponsors, industry influencers, and business partners. Participants will gain insights into the business side of collegiate sports and enjoy exclusive access to an in-person campus visit at a Learfield partner school, along with invitations to Learfield-hosted events throughout the year.
To be considered for the 2025 cohort, applicants must complete and submit the online application by September 21, 2025. A selection committee made up of representatives from both host organizations will review all submissions and select up to 20 candidates based on their interest in sales, marketing, client management, or technology within collegiate athletics.
Accepted participants will be notified by October 15, 2025.
Complete requirements are detailed in the online application. The additional criteria used for candidate selection includes:
- Must have at least 1+ years of full-time work experience (current students, full-time graduate students, and interns will not be considered).
- Meets the federal guideline for definition as a minority.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Submit the online application and include the additional documents.
