CABMA Announces 2024-25 Executive Committee

CLEVELAND – Rob Novak, chief financial officer at University of Texas, will serve as President of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) for the 2024-25 membership year.
 
"It is an incredible honor to continue serving our Association as President for the upcoming year" shares Novak.  "I cannot thank Matt Smale enough for his contributions to CABMA over the last year, serving as both the Director of the Mentor Me program, and a member of our Executive Committee, during a period of transition and progress.  As we enter this next membership year, I am honored to support our fellow Executive Committee members as we continue to accomplish our Association wide goals."
 
Novak is joined by 1st Vice President Ashley Leko, senior associate athletics director/chief financial officer at University of South Florida; 2nd Vice President Josh Isom, associate athletics director, business operations at the University of South Alabama; Past President Tim McCleary, senior associate AD for business operations & planning/CFO at University of Minnesota and the newest member of the CABMA Executive Committee, Kyle Rae who will serve as 3rd Vice President for the 2024-25 membership year. Rae was voted in by the membership and currently serves as associate athletics director for business operations at University of Virginia.

Katelyn Fischer, associate athletics director and chief of staff at Jacksonville University will serve as Director of the Mentor Me Program for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 membership years. 
 
Leko held the roles of 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President for the 2023-24 membership year, and now will transition solely into the 1st Vice President role in the 2024-25 membership year.
