Mentor and Fellows Nomination – Deadline to apply – Friday, July 19
CLEVELAND – The
Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) is soliciting applicants for its second FCS ADA Fellows Program class. This program provides a year-long opportunity to FCS administrators that are ready to take the next step to assume an athletics director position.
The program pairs a FCS Fellow with an athletics director mentor to address potential areas that they should focus on during the 10-month process, ranging from development, leadership strategies to sport oversight, along or other skill areas. In addition, the Fellows class will meet monthly via zoom to discuss hot topics and hear from veteran leaders in the industry.
"We heard great feedback from the first year Fellows and are excited to launch year two of the FCS ADA Fellows Program," stated FCS ADA President Mark Benson, director of athletics at University at Albany. "We appreciate the time and dedication that Doug Knuth, AD at Southern Utah, brings to this opportunity. We look forward to working with this group of future leaders."
In addition to Fellows, we are also soliciting mentors for the process. Please take a minute to nominate a deserving candidate
here.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, July 19.
