AUGUSTA, GA -- Ferris State (Michigan) senior forward Chloe Idoni was named the Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the D2CIDA. The naive of Fenton, Mich., averaged 33.0 points per game in two wins for the No. 13 Bulldogs.

Idoni scored 33 against both Wisconsin-Parkside and Purdue Northwest. Against Parkside, she hit 11-of-19 shots from the field and 2-of-4 3-pointers. Against Purdue Northwest, she hit 14-of-19 shots and 2-of-3 from long range. For the week, she shot .658 from the field and .571 from the 3-point line, adding an 80 percent clip (12-of-15) from the free throw line to go with 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

The two wins helped Ferris State to a No. 2 seed in the upcoming GLIAC Tournament, which starts Wednesday as Ferris State hosts Saginaw Valley State. Idoni is currently third in the league in scoring, fifth in field goal percentage, second in free throw percentage and ninth in rebounding.
