AUGUSTA, GA -- Augustana University's (South Dakota) Isaac Fink was named the Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the D2CIDA. The graduate student guard from Springfield, Minn., averaged an eye-popping 36 points and 10 rebounds per game in a pair of wins for the Vikings.
Fink scored 39 points with a career-high 16 rebounds in a win over Northern State for his ninth career double-double. He hit 6-of-12 3-pointers in that game and all seven of his free throw attempts. He followed that with 33 points against the University of Mary. For the week, he shot 55 percent (11-of-20) from 3-point range, 54 percent from the field, and was 17-for-17 from the free throw line. He added 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Now sixth on the Augustana all-time career scoring list, Fink is currently fourth in the NSIC in scoring, sixth in rebounding and seventh in field goal percentage.
