CLEVELAND – The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) has selected Kirby Garry director of athletics at Cal State Monterey Bay, to serve as President for the 2023-24 membership year.

"I'm thankful and look forward to the opportunity to work with and for our D2ADA officer group and board this year," said Garry. "As I review the list of past presidents that have served in this position, I'm humbled to follow in the footsteps of colleagues that I hold in high regard. This means a great deal to me professionally and personally. Thank you to the entire NACDA family for the support and encouragement as we all come together to serve the best interests of our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and institutions." 
 
Garry takes over for Past President, Kim Pate, vice president of athletics at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Serving alongside Garry will be:

• 1st Vice President Michael McFarland, director of athletics at Bloomsburg University;
• 2^nd Vice President Traci Murphy, director of athletics at Daemen University; and
• 3^rd Vice President Jenn Bell, director of athletics at Converse University.

D2 ADA welcomes six new directors of athletics and one AD serving her second term – Stephanie Shrieve-Hawkins, San Francisco State University – to the 2023-24 Board of Directors:
