E.J. Dambreville of
Florida Southern College has been named the D2CIDA Division II Player of the Week for November 14-20. The senior from Dorchester, Mass., averaged a double-double with 24 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in two wins for the unbeaten Mocs, shooting 64 percent from the field.
In the road win over Clayton State, Dambreville scored a career-high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting while hauling in seven boards for the Moccasins in 35 minutes of action. Against Palm Beach Atlantic in the SSC opener, he finished with 19 points and 14 rebounds while playing 39 of the 40 minutes. He added 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
He is currently second in the Sunshine State Conference in scoring and leads the conference in rebounding.
The Division II Player of the Week is selected by the Division II Conference Information Directors Association (D2CIDA).
