CLEVELAND - The
Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association (DI-AAA ADA) has selected
Scott Leykam, vice president for athletics at the University of Portland to serve as President for the 2019-20 membership year.
"I am honored to represent the outstanding institutions and student-athletes at the Division I-AAA level in this important role," Leykam said. "I am excited about the opportunity to work with the Officers, Executive Committee and staff to help our institutions provide both the best student-athlete experience possible and advocate for what is important for I-AAA Athletics Departments to succeed both on and off the field."
Leykam takes the reins from
Mary Ellen Gillespie, director of athletics at the University of Hartford, who will transition to Past President. Serving alongside Leykam will be: 1st Vice President
Chris Reynolds, vice president for intercollegiate athletics at Bradley University; 2
nd Vice President
Kim Record, director of athletics at the University of North Carolina Greensboro; 3
rd Vice President
Simon Gray, director of athletics at Niagara University; Secretary
Robert Lineburg, director of athletics at Radford University and Treasurer
Ken Kavanagh, director of athletics at Florida Gulf Coast University.
The 2019-20 DI-AAA ADA Executive Committee will consist of:

Jean Lenti Ponsetto, DePaul University;
Tamica Smith-Jones, University of California Riverside;
