– In the first set of fall Learfield Directors' Cup standings, Johns Hopkins
has accumulated 292.00 points to lead the first set of Division III standings. The Blue Jays tallied three top-10 finishes (women's cross country, 2nd
; field hockey, 3rd
; and men's cross country, 9th
) and a 17th
place finish in volleyball.
Rounding out the top-five is Washington (St. Louis)
in second place with 240 total points after a first place finish in women's cross country, second place in men's cross country and a 17th
overall finish in volleyball. Middlebury
is in third with 230.5 points after capturing the women's field hockey title and finishing 8th
in women's cross country and 15th
in men's cross country. Wisconsin Eau Claire
is in fourth with 229 points, taking home 3rd
place in volleyball, 4th
in women's cross country and 11th
in men's cross country. Rounding out the top five is Tufts
with 203.5 points, finishing second in field hockey, 12th
in women's cross country and 35th
in men's cross country.

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today
. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
The next Division III fall standings will be released Thursday, December 6.
